Moving from Pirates to Sundowns wasn’t easy – Lorch on fire

After a sluggish beginning, Lorch is now operating at full throttle for Rhulani Mokwena’s squad.

The small-statured winger propelled Sundowns to triumph on Sunday during their Nedbank Cup encounter against Maritzburg United. Lorch’s two goals made all the difference, securing a 2-0 victory for his team.

Reflecting on his slow start after transferring from Pirates to Sundowns, Thembinkosi Lorch remarked, “It wasn’t an easy transition for me, moving from Pirates to Sundowns. I needed time to adjust, and I'm grateful to my teammates for their support." As cited by IDiskiTimes, he added, "I want to express my gratitude to the fans for their warm welcome, and to the coach for his patience with me."

There were many Sundowns fans who were not optimistic about the Lorch deal, as he is a player who makes a difference and reserves a seat for himself to be a distinguished player in Sundowns.

But the player had made a wonderful mark for himself since the beginning, scoring two goals and leading the team to victory in the Ned Bank Cup, and he had also won the Man of the Match award.

On the other hand, the Bafana Bafana national team has summoned some players to represent the national team in the friendly intermission matches

The team then returned to complete the CAF Champions League, and from my point of view, the draw put us on an easy path to the final
