Explosive Allegations: TS Galaxy Coach Unleashes Fury Against Rulani Mokwena"

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramović leveled startling accusations against Rulani Mokwena, peppering his statements with explicit language as he recounted an alleged phone conversation with his Mamelodi Sundowns counterpart.

Speaking at a Nedbank Cup press briefing ahead of Galaxy’s clash with Lamontville Golden Arrows, Ramović alleged that Mokwena had deceived the public by claiming to have received an apology from Hugo Broos in January regarding comments attributed to the Bafana Bafana coach in the Belgian press before the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon). These comments reportedly included Mokwena being referred to as "pretending to be God".

Ramović responded to Mokwena's claims made earlier in the week about contacting him over remarks attributed to the German coach in late November. He vividly recounted an abrasive phone conversation he purportedly had with Mokwena.

Mokwena, currently unavailable for comment as he is in Mauritania for Sundowns' Caf Champions League fixture, stated he would not respond to Ramović's allegations until his return to South Africa.

Ramović clarified that his earlier remark aimed at Mokwena in November was in response to the Sundowns coach's complaints after missing seven players following their elimination from the Carling Knockout by Galaxy in October.

He claimed that after a month, in December, Sundowns player Khuliso Mudau confronted him about his alleged feud with Mokwena. Ramović asserted that he merely defended his players and club during this exchange.

Describing a subsequent phone call from Mokwena, Ramović alleged that Mokwena used derogatory language and threatened him, questioning his authority to speak in "his country".

Ramović stated that he spoke with Broos about Mokwena's assertion regarding an apology from the Bafana coach. According to Ramović, Broos denied ever apologizing to Mokwena, labeling it as a falsehood.

Ramović emphasized that Mokwena's behavior was unacceptable, urging Sundowns to address the situation. He also mentioned an incident where Mokwena allegedly entered the Bafana dressing room after a match against the Democratic Republic of Congo during Afcon, suggesting it was inappropriate conduct for a fellow coach.

Efforts to reach Broos for comment were unsuccessful as he was reportedly on break in Belgium following Bafana's third-place finish at the Nations Cup.
